Puns?
According to dictionary.com, a pun is "a play on words, sometimes on different senses of the same word and sometimes on the similar sense or sound of different words."
I love puns, especially when they were unintended. I was quite surprised to learn that some people regard puns as the lowest form of humour, because, heck, I thought one has to be pretty witty to make or get puns. Puns are suitable for all light-hearted situations; although I agree that pun overdose could be sickening — but then isn't everything? ;)
